Halloween is near and its time to prepare all the traditional decorations that will flood our houses and neighborhoods. This is a very simple pattern that took me about an hour to make. A little pumpkin. It has the perfect size to make it a keychain if you want.
The pattern is really simple and you will need just a little yarn. Let's get to work:
Supplies:
Orange yarn: 2.5mm
Green yarn: 2.5mm
Crochett hook: 2 mm. (according to the yarn needs)
Weaving needle.

Legend:
This pattern uses the following acronyms for each stitch type. Remember that brackets "[]" mean that the action in between must be repeated throughout the row. The number between "()" is the number of stitches that you should have at the end of the row.
SC - Single crochet
INC - Increase
DEC - Decrease
INVDEC - Invisible Decrease
Calabaza:
Use orange yarn. You could use reddish yarn or maybe white.
1. Magic ring of 6 (6)
2. [INC] (12)
3. [SC, INC] (18)
4. [2SC, INC] (24)
5. [3SC, INC] (30)
6-7-8. [SC] (30)
8. [3SC, INVDEC] (24)
9. [2SC, INVDEC] (18) -> It's time to stuff with cotton.
10. [1SC, INVDEC] (12)
11. [INVDEC] (6)
Close with decreases and cut leaving a long tail, we will use it later.
1. Chain of 4, on the first stitch, make a stich to join them.
2. From the last stitch, make a chain of 4, make a stitch to the first of this chain to join this second "finger".
3. Make a chain of 4, and attach the last stitch to the first stitch of the chain and now the last stitch with the first stich of the leaf.
4. Once we have the leaf, make a chain of 4 to make a tail.
Joint:
It is time to make 6 sections on the pumpkin. Take the tail yarn that we left after closing the pumpkin. We are going to sew from the top to the oposite side. Don't make a knot at every turn, just slip it through a stitch and turn, tighten it so it gets the correct shape.
Check out the pictures:
Last step: sew the leaf to the pumpkin. And that's it, we have a little pumpkin for halloween.
